Happy New Year! It’s a little cliche, but I want to take today’s post to look back at this year on my blog. First up, my top 10 posts. I determined this by compiling all of my posts since March (when I really started blogging regularly) and choosing the ones with the most likes and comments. I then averaged the two numbers. In the event of a tie, it’s random which one went first.
10. Science Experiment: Fun with Colors
9. Picture of the Week: Baking Bread
4. The Tooth Fairy (and other mythical creatures)
3. New York Style Bagels at Home
I hope you enjoyed this little trip through “Memory Lane.” I know I did. And I must say, I was a bit surprised at some of these. But it’s been interesting to see which posts people liked the most.
It’s been a big year for the blog in other ways, too. This year, I changed the focus of the blog (a couple of times…). It started out as a place for me to share my crafting achievements. I still do that, but it’s so much more now. I share our life. I share our homeschooling successes, a special moment each week in the Picture of the Week series, recipes, family trips… In 2014, I hope to focus my posts a little bit more and share how I manage to do all things while keeping things simple. The name of the blog is, after all, “Simplicity Breeds Happiness.” But we’ll see how that goes. I’m not sure how good I’ll be at focusing.
So. I suppose that’s it for now… I’ll leave you with this.
THANK YOU.
Thank you for telling your friends about this space. Thank you for your likes and comments. And most of all, thank you for reading.
Blessings,
Wendy

It has been great getting to know you through your blog this year! I am looking forward to reading more about how you simplify as that’s something we’ve been working on for several years. Happy New Year!
